Nissan TD42 Intake Manifold Adaptor Elbow – 2.5" Cast Aluminium
Fills the gap between old, poorly cast factory elbows and billet alloy adaptors that are often only available bundled with a full intercooler kit. This 2.5" diameter adaptor gives you a reliable standalone solution with a completely smooth transition from inlet through to the manifold for maximum airflow, with no sharp edges or sudden radius changes to restrict flow.
The ridge-machined finish gives silicone hoses maximum bite, preventing them from popping off under pressure, unlike the smooth or poorly finished surfaces used on other adaptors. This matters for reliability, since a hose blowing off under boost can unload the compressor and trigger a sudden turbo overspeed event, a leading cause of turbo failure. Many competing adaptors rely on a simple cast ridge that's fine at low to moderate boost but known to fail above 30 PSI.
Manufactured from cast aluminium with three 1/8" BSP ports for boost reference points, giving you room for a compensator, boost gauge, and a spare.
Designed to work with common and custom top-mount intercooler kits. Its concentric design lets you rotate the elbow in 90 degree increments to face forward, rear, left, or right, keeping a low profile for maximum clearance under the intercooler regardless of whether you're running an off-the-shelf or custom setup.
